USC Sumter Men's Golf Team Triumphs at NJCAA Region 10 Golf Tournament
The USC Sumter men's golf team has clinched the NJCAA Region 10 Golf Tournament title, showcasing their skill and determination at the Lakeside Country Club on April 8. The team posted a score of 312, edging out USC Union, who finished with a score of 320. August Palmgren, Reed Hocutt, Robert Higbe, and Max Laine shot in the 70's to help secure this Championship, with David Fronczak leading the charge. This now qualifies the team to play in the District Tournament in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. If the team places in the top 4, they then qualify to play for the NJCAA National Championship in Newton, Kansas. This victory crowns USC Sumter as the Region 10 Champions for this year.
