Sumter, SC – July 14, 2025 — The USC Sumter Fire Ants men's soccer team has officially announced its Fall 2025 schedule, marking the beginning of a new chapter after a landmark 2024 season that saw the program earn its first-ever bid to the NJCAA Southeast District Tournament.

Head Coach Maxi Rocco and the Fire Ants are riding high after last year's breakthrough performance, and the 2025 schedule reflects their growing ambition. With a mix of high-profile non-conference opponents and crucial Region 10 matchups, the Fire Ants are poised to build on their momentum and make another deep postseason run.

2025 Schedule Highlights:

• Preseason Tests: The Fire Ants open with a pair of exhibition matches against River City FC (Aug. 16), NCAA Division II powerhouse Francis Marion University (Aug. 17), Lander University (Aug. 20), and Newberry College (Aug. 22).
• Road Warriors: A challenging early stretch includes away games at USC Lancaster  (Aug. 26), Southwest Virginia Community College (Aug. 30), USC Salkehatchie (Sept. 3), and Gardner-Webb University (Sept. 5).
• Region 10 Clashes: Key conference matchups include Denmark Technical College (Aug. 23), USC Lancaster (Aug. 26 & Sept. 25), USC Salkehatchie (Sept. 3 & Oct. 15), and USC Union (Sept. 27 & Oct. 19).
• Neutral Site Showdowns: The Fire Ants will face Daytona State College and Oxford College of Emory University in a neutral-site doubleheader on Sept. 19–20.
• Home Finale: The regular season wraps up with a critical Region 10 road match at USC Union on Oct. 19.
